Michael: The A.I.R. Meditation

This very special Meditation tool/practice was gifted directly to Michael from his inner guidance,

coming to him in 3 parts progressively, as he began (with what we’re calling “Part 1”) and then continued to do the practice.

We have published this in a nice little spiral-bound booklet, which is also available to our clients.

For your online access, we’re including the text of the booklet here:

The A.I.R. Meditation

Activating our “Direct-Connect”

Reminders and indicators are everywhere, encouraging us to:    “Meditate more!”

Many people when they meditate, find that their mind comes and goes.

This is a simple and powerful tool that keeps it (us) in the moment and builds great momentum with connection to Source.

While in AIR Meditation, we use intention and focus on breath with key words silently, which replaces mental distraction and wandering.

As the need for mental distractions and wandering relaxes, the intension and focus becomes more effortless.

Our “direct-connect” unfolds naturally, as efforting gets relaxed and put to rest.

Breathing has been a gift to our physical bodies, as being normally unconscious, but now can become more conscious in participation with this AIR Meditation.

Preparation – Spacial Positioning:

Find a quiet place where you are not likely to be distracted or interrupted.

  • Comfortable seating
  • Spine as straight as comfortably possible
  • Shoulders relaxed, eyes closed.

A.I.R. – The Meditation

Activate:

Stating this word has agreement and knowing that whatever is to be activated is already present.

This is an empowerment of being in the presence of grace and light and the act of turning the volume, not on, but up!

Illuminate

is the 2nd half of the multi-directions and dimensional expansion – from, to and with the light.

Radiate is the volume-outreach.

Method:

  • In the early part of the breath in, “activation”,  say (silently) “activate”.
  • And then as the breath starts to fill up, and become full, say “illuminate”.

(the first  two words are – inhale – approximately 4 seconds)

  • And then, right at the peak, and as you start to exhale, say “radiate”.

Important to have a relaxed, gentle exhale in the “radiate” mode.        (approx. 2-4 seconds)

Allow 10 minutes per day of this AIR Meditation focus for five (5) consecutive days

and a rhythm and merger of breath with the A.I.R. words will deepen.

~ PART II ~

Intentional Directive

As many of us know, in native Hawaiian (and other cultures) there is a practice of a chant or song leader, in the quiet space just before a “next” verse to inject/speak/ introduce the first word or two of that coming verse,  from a special instant within that pause, and then the singers/chanters commence with that word/energy as the next verse (breath) commences.

In today’s A-I-R meditation, as the exhale “Radiate” experience expands, notice a personally appropriate, word/theme just before the next in-breath, with “Activate”.

This becomes the theme for this next phase (Part II) of the “Activate… Illuminate… Radiate” cycle.

Then, in the stillness of the space at the end of “Radiate”, before the next “Activate”… another word/theme/energy will appear for the embrace of the next cycle:

(Examples)

[———-Inhale———–] ………….. [–Exhale–]

Love” ……. Activate, Illuminate,  Radiate —    (silence/stillness)   ….

Healing”… Activate, Illuminate,  Radiate —    (silence)   ….

Clarity”…  A-I-R —   (silence)   ….

Gratitude”…  A-I-R …  (silence)   ….

While in the mid-latter part of the “Radiate” phase, we find ourselves expanding outward, beyond our personalized self- identification, and in that formlessness (before the next breath in) we are open for our Heart to bring to our awareness the “next”…

– + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + –

While in the formless space in “Radiate”,  we receive the next 1-3 word “theme”.

  • We then “Activate” that intention/theme/desire/word(s)  -– with the in-breath –
  • Then as we “Illuminate” with it,  the energy/healing builds it in the Light…
  • And then “Radiate” (expansion)…

– + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + –

The essence of any requests, wishes, desires of our soul can be encapsulated down into 1-3 words, no more than that needed (more than 3 can break the AIR rhythm/cycle).

(Examples)

Healing for Paul”,    Activate, Illuminate,

Radiate —  (silence )   ….

Clarity with (person) or (situation),

Embody Higher Knowing”…

Embody Simplicity” …..                   “Embrace Compassion”…

“Thin the Veil” …                                 “Forgive Myself”,  etc.,

each of them taken to Activate, Illuminate and Radiate – cycling with the breath…

– + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + – + –

If there is a life crisis or major healing/ event for our embrace/ allowance, the repetition of the same word(s) or theme, up to five times (no more) is recommended.

After the 5 times limit,

“Trust allows the continuance into form”.

Our bodies require care and attention. We can use the AIR meditation to heal and empower our physical experience:

Acceptance, this body”  ….   Activate – Illuminate – Radiate

Gratitude,  this body”  …          (A.I.R.)

Health, this body” …

“Love, this body” …

“Joy, this body” …

“Energy , this body”  …

“Celebration, this body”  …

After  “cleaning house” like this, all that is left is Grace, Love and Beauty.    That’s when we can go further into the stillness, of meditation… Into the simple purity of the Light…

It’s a fast-track platform, with our pure intent to expand in our healing, awakening and purpose.

There is a natural progression to be experienced with this AIR Meditation:

1)      For the first 5 or more consecutive days, meditate for 10 minutes in Part I.

2)      Then for the next 5 consecutive days, meditate for 15 minutes in Part II phase.   (Five minutes with the Part I method, plus 10 minutes with Part II method.)

3)   With these two 5-day increments integrated, the progression to Part III holds us ready!

PART III

Using the Mind

to

Quiet the Mind

With the continued use of Activate, Illuminate, Radiate….   We can get in touch with a rhythm of embracing the state of grace and letting it radiate.    (Part I)

Now that we’re comfortable in that rhythm, and finding that our breath and our use of those words with the breath are becoming one with each other, the words “activate, illuminate” are becoming the inhale and the word “radiate” and state of grace are becoming the exhale.

The healing words of intention now gracefully emerge from the present moment from our heart (such as “thin the veil”, “peace”, “harmony”, “trust my love”, “trust this love”, etc.)  This is now added to the connection/ rhythm  of the breath. (Part II)

After being in Part I and then Part II of the AIR Meditation for ten (10) minutes or more, then there is a progression option… deeper into the meditative state (Part III):

Moving into the true essence of meditation (with Parts 1 & 2):  Part 3 is a gentle process of going back to the (1) with just using the breath…  letting go of the words…

Now that we’ve gone through our activation cycle of healing and activating our intentional resolving…  then we begin with one (in & out) breath with the A.I.R. words – and the next breath without the words –and we keep doing this until we become mindless and heart-filled with the breath, without any more words.

Then as we go into the every-other breath (using the A.I.R. words), and then just the breath by itself, we start tangibly experiencing the mindless state of grace, in that every-other (in & out) breath.

We do this until we don’t feel like the mind is trying to sneak in on the breath without any words.

When we experience mindlessness and heart-filled grace, then we move on, to two (2) breaths without A.I.R. words… and we do that for a while until we begin to feel like saying “Activate-Illuminate-Radiate” becomes an effort, and the grace and the heartfulness are maintaining a continuum.    That’s when the words end and pure grace resides.   In us, with us.

Then continue in meditative state without the words, as long as we can.  If we start feeling the mind creeping back in, then we go back to the beginning of Part III.  This will strengthen our state of staying in the grace and direct-connecting at will.

A final note from Michael:

We all hold in our hearts the desire to experience our divine purpose consciously

and to contribute, with this purpose, with all our heart in gratitude and joy.

This A.I.R. Meditation has blessed me with more clarity and resolve in purpose, love, joy and trust.

I offer this blessing forward to the desires, needs, intention, welcome and allowance of “more”!
